Litecoin is trading near $45, and that has put fresh attention on a debate over whether the asset is building a long-term bottom. Analyst Celal Kucuker says the higher-timeframe chart is showing a bottoming structure, with a bullish scenario opening the way first toward $417 and, in a stronger move, toward an all-time-high area near $471.
His view is tied to a rounded-bottom formation on the long-term chart and a sequence of higher lows as LTC tests its long-running downtrend line. Traders often read that combination as a sign that buyers are still defending important levels. Litecoin’s long history as a peer-to-peer payments network keeps it on the radar when these chart structures begin to change.
Short-term focus stays on the $45.30 to $46.00 band
The near-term picture is less settled. Analyst Crypto With Gopal says Litecoin’s hourly chart has formed an ascending wedge again, a setup that has previously come before pullbacks. He identifies $45.30 to $46.00 as the immediate resistance zone and says that area deserves close monitoring for any reversal signal.
That leaves LTC in a narrow technical spot. Holding around $45 shows support is still present, but repeated failure at that resistance range could keep short-term pressure in place. A move above the band would weaken the bearish view for the near term and shift attention back to broader breakout levels.
On-chain activity remains firm through June
Beyond the chart patterns, on-chain data has stayed strong. According to Lite Strategy, Litecoin recorded more than 200,000 daily users throughout June and reached about 228,000 by the end of the month. On most days, user activity moved in a range of roughly 230,000 to 260,000, pointing to steady network usage.
That kind of consistency suggests Litecoin is still being used for payments and routine transactions. Network activity alone does not guarantee a price advance, but analysts often treat it as a core input when judging whether a long downtrend has a real chance of breaking.
$136 stands out as the major long-term threshold
On the broader chart, analysts are watching $136 as the decisive level. The price point aligns with prior resistance and the neckline of a large accumulation structure. If LTC can break and hold above $136, that would likely be viewed as a meaningful higher-timeframe breakout and could draw renewed market interest.
Within that longer-term setup, $417 is seen as the next major hurdle before any attempt toward the $471 target. For now, though, the more immediate question remains unchanged: whether Litecoin can clear the $45.30 to $46.00 resistance zone.
