As of 14:30 on September 8, Machi Big Brother (Jeffrey Huang) reduced his BTC long position from about 541 BTC to 50 BTC, scaling down to approximately $4 million. The unwinding saw cumulative sell-offs of 575.07 BTC with partial buybacks of 91 BTC, resulting in a net realized loss of $320,000 including fees. The remaining position shows a floating loss of $47,400.

Huang's BTC Long Position Shrinks Amid $320K Loss

Odaily says that, as of 14:30 on September 8, Machi Big Brother (Jeffrey Huang) had cut his BTC long from about 541 BTC the night before to just 50 BTC, a net drop of roughly 491 BTC. What’s left is worth about $3.9174 million, carries 40x leverage, has an average entry price of $79,294.9, and shows an unrealized loss of $47,400.

From last night into today, during that cutback, he sold a combined roughly 575.07 BTC and bought back about 91 BTC. The sell-offs locked in losses too: $30,560 from the price gap and $14,400 in fees, bringing the net realized loss to $320,000. So yes, his BTC long position size fell hard, from roughly $43 million to around $4 million.
