The bull market hasn't returned, but Machi Big Brother cashed in on early 2026's rebound. He closed a 40x leveraged Bitcoin (BTC) long today, pocketing roughly $1.53 million in profit, and quickly redirected capital into Ethereum (ETH) and Hyperliquid's native token HYPE.
40x BTC Position Fully Closed
According to Hyperliquid data, Jeffrey Huang completed a reversal this week under high leverage, realizing $1.53 million in gains. He took profits as Bitcoin consolidated near highs, then opened a 25x leveraged long on ~7,100 ETH at an average price of $2,987. At that leverage, a roughly 4% drop would trigger liquidation—extremely risky. Earlier, the position had suffered between $230,000 and $375,000 in unrealized losses, but Huang held firm without reducing exposure.
Turning to Ethereum and HYPE
Beyond ETH, Huang entered a 10x leveraged position in Hyperliquid's HYPE token, gradually building it to 25,888.88 tokens at an average cost of $24.5. Despite looming unlock selling pressure and HYPE trading in a narrow $24.7–$26.2 range, Huang chose to counter-trend, betting on potential protocol upside.
