The direction is clear: all resources are being concentrated on the Solana ecosystem and its gaming platform Dicey.
Dicey launched a closed beta in January 2026, attracting about 200 users who placed over $15 million in bets within the first two months—impressive early numbers. The platform runs on Solana and follows an on-chain gambling model, a far cry from its original NFT trading marketplace.
ME Token Mechanics: Revenue Buyback and Staking Rewards

Magic Eden allocates 15% of platform revenue to token buybacks: half is used to buy ME directly from the open market, the other half is distributed as USDC to staking users on a monthly basis. Staking rewards are determined by "amount staked × lock-up period," with longer locks yielding higher multipliers.
This mechanism ties platform revenue to token holders. If Dicey continues to grow in volume, it could theoretically boost buyback scale. However, whether the platform can successfully pivot from NFT marketplace to a long-term player in gambling and entertainment remains uncertain.
