A wallet identified by EmberCN as belonging to an early MakerDAO team member or investor sold 1,050 MKR on July 24 after holding the tokens for nearly 10 years. The proceeds were converted into about 1.316 million USDC and then transferred to Kraken. On-chain data cited in the report shows the address originally received the 1,050 MKR in April 2016 and did not move the holdings for almost a decade. The only recorded change during that period was a wallet migration in 2018 tied to the MKR token upgrade. The latest transaction marks a full exit of the wallet’s MKR position, according to the monitoring update from EmberCN cited by BlockBeats.
