Since launching MapleStory N on May 15, 2025, the platform has recorded over 150 million cumulative on-chain transactions and surpassed 3.82 million registered accounts. MSU 2.0: From a Single Game to an IP Infrastructure
MSU is entering its next phase with MSU 2.0, a multi-stage expansion planned through 2026–2027. At its core sits the VIBE IP tech stack, built on two pillars: first, dedicated APIs that grant builders access to gameplay and behavioral data from MapleStory N, turning IP from static brand assets into a programmable, data-rich layer; second, an on-chain builder economy running on the Henesys chain (an Avalanche L1), streamlining IP licensing, revenue settlement, and payments into a single system. AI-powered "vibe coding" tools allow anyone to turn an idea into a deployable product.
Record NFT Mint and Exchange Listings
Pre-launch, the Scroll NFT campaign saw approximately 1.7 million scrolls minted, confirmed as the largest NFT mint in Avalanche history. On launch day, MSU-related weekly active addresses on Avalanche surged 549%. The native NXPC token was listed on seven major exchanges simultaneously, including Binance, Bybit, Upbit, and Bithumb. To date, MSU accounts for 23.3% of all activity on the Avalanche network.
Winter Update Drives New User Inflows and Sustainable Economy
MapleStory N's winter update in late 2025 generated over 130,000 user inflows, roughly three-quarters new users. For the first time post-launch, player spending exceeded rewards distributed, indicating a self-sustaining in-game economy. The MSU team stated: "We focused on building long-term infrastructure. MSU has evolved beyond a single game into infrastructure for creation, commerce, and participation. IP is becoming an economic system."
In its second year, the development team plans accelerated update cadence, including the highly anticipated Black Mage content and a new MVP system that rewards dedicated players through diverse criteria, with plans to scale the program over time.
