Menese Protocol, a multichain execution infrastructure built on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP), has launched its public beta, opening access to community-tested cross-chain liquidity pools, a developer SDK, and staking for its native utility token, MENES. Backed by Mercatura Forum and ICP Hub Egypt, the project positions itself as an execution layer for the decentralized internet.

Fully on-chain execution as the core differentiator

According to the project, Menese is designed to avoid the traditional dependence on bridges, centralized routing services, or off-chain relayers. Instead, it uses threshold cryptographic key derivation on ICP to handle signing, transaction construction, routing, and settlement directly on-chain. The stated goal is to reduce reliance on single interfaces, exchanges, or third-party custodians.

Menese says it can natively support more than 50 EVM and non-EVM blockchains, including Solana, Bitcoin, Cardano, XRP Ledger, Sui, TON, NEAR, THORChain, and CloakCoin. It also lists Algorand, MultiversX (EGLD), Hedera, and Stellar as being in active development. Through a single sovereign wallet framework, users retain full custody of their keys while interacting across multiple ecosystems.

Liquidity pools and SDK move into testing

As part of the beta rollout, Menese has deployed cross-chain liquidity pools that are currently available to community testers. The liquidity layer is intended to let developers and liquidity providers coordinate access across multiple chains through one execution environment, potentially reducing capital fragmentation between isolated protocols.

The Menese SDK is also live in testing, giving developers access to cross-chain routing, automated execution, liquidity coordination, and integration tools for building on top of the protocol. To encourage adoption, the team has launched a ClawdBot integration competition focused on automated agents in the Solana and Sui ecosystems, aiming to stress-test the infrastructure under practical use cases.

MENES token utility and ecosystem participation

The protocol says MENES functions as its native coordination token, covering staking and network participation, governance and protocol upgrades, execution fee alignment, and ecosystem incentive distribution. Staking is already live for contributors who want to support the project’s long-term development.

Menese was developed by the founding team behind Mercatura Forum and ICP Hub Egypt through Mercatura’s founder-in-residence program. Mercatura focuses on Web3, AI, and robotics, while ICP Hub Egypt, funded by DFINITY and managed by Mercatura, has reportedly trained more than 600 blockchain engineers across Egypt. With the beta now open, Menese is inviting developers, liquidity providers, and infrastructure participants to test integrations and help validate its on-chain multichain execution model.
