Meta has added a new set of small-business features and connectors to its existing Muse product, expanding the assistant’s reach across commerce, accounting, design and collaboration software. Alexandr Wang said 22 connectors went live the same day, including QuickBooks, Shopify, Stripe, Canva, Figma, Slack, Zoom, GitHub and Vercel. Once connected, Muse can read information from Facebook, Instagram and Meta ad accounts, along with data from storefronts, ledgers, design platforms and workplace tools. Meta said small businesses can use the setup to analyze sales and ad performance, build growth plans, check unusual spending, manage inventory and draft marketing content. The company also pointed to existing demand for these functions. Vishal Shah, Meta’s vice president of AI products, said about one-third of early Muse users had already connected some form of business account. Meta had been testing these capabilities earlier and has now folded them into Muse more formally. For actions involving publishing content, sending messages or spending money, user confirmation is still required. Businesses can also connect custom tools that Meta does not yet natively support.
