MetaComp Pte. Ltd has closed $35 million across two funding rounds within three months. Backed by Alibaba, Spark Venture, and other institutional investors, the capital will expand the StableX Network across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America — and accelerate the integration of fiat rails with stablecoin networks on a single platform.
Web2.5 Architecture Drives Two Rounds
Tin Pei Ling, Co-President of MetaComp, stated the company was built on one conviction: the future of cross-border finance is neither purely traditional nor purely digital, but an integrated Web2.5 architecture where fiat and stablecoin networks operate as one. Two consecutive funding rounds underscore institutional confidence in that thesis.
The funding accelerates MetaComp's AI-driven Agent-Skills-MCP (Model Context Protocol) system, which powers hybrid payment and wealth services. Institutions can access regulated fiat-stablecoin payments and tokenized wealth management products under one roof.
Licensed Infrastructure at Scale
MetaComp's MAS-licensed affiliate, Alpha Ladder Finance, manages $500 million in wealth assets and operates a Client Asset Management Platform with a monthly run rate exceeding $1 billion. In 2025, the platform processed over $10 billion in payments and OTC volume across 13+ stablecoins.
By combining MAS licensing with proprietary technology, MetaComp enables compliant, real-time settlement. Through PayX and WealthX1, institutions can move, convert, safeguard, and grow capital efficiently.
Tackling Conventional Payment Bottlenecks
Traditional payment rails suffer from multi-day settlement cycles, high costs, and limited currency reach. MetaComp's StableX Network fuses fiat and stablecoin channels to tackle these issues. Spark Venture praised the company for creating next-generation payment systems that blend traditional money and digital assets — a market worth tens of trillions of dollars.
MetaComp retains over $100 million in available funds, ensuring financial stability and rapid rollout of new services. Beyond regional expansion, the funds will fuel AI development, regulatory compliance, and hybrid payment and investment offerings.
