MEXC has introduced “Pizza Day: Urban Run,” turning Bitcoin Pizza Day into a parkour-style in-app game. The exchange said the campaign marks the first time a crypto platform has rolled out a dedicated experience built around this format. Instead of focusing on the old story of 10,000 BTC spent on pizza, the campaign lets users collect “Pizza Vouchers” and compete for rewards of up to 1 BTC.
Pizza Vouchers are earned through routine platform tasks
According to the announcement, users can collect Pizza Vouchers by completing daily tasks such as check-ins, deposits, and trading. Those vouchers serve as entry tickets to the “Pizza Day Urban Run” game. MEXC said the game includes Easy, Medium, and Hard levels, opening participation to users with different levels of familiarity.
The exchange also attached a guaranteed reward structure to the event. Every player who completes a course will receive something from a prize pool that includes Bitcoin, Xaut token, futures bonuses, and exclusive Pizza Day merchandise. That means the event is designed around course completion rather than a winner-takes-all setup.
MEXC links the campaign to protection and reserve messaging
In a statement, MEXC CEO Vugar Usi said Bitcoin Pizza Day reflects how far the digital asset industry has come since the first historic Bitcoin transaction. He paired the campaign announcement with comments on the company’s protection framework and long-term user confidence.
Usi said that commitment is reflected in two measures: a plan to expand the Guardian Fund to $500 million and MEXC’s recent acquisition of 1,000 BTC. In the release, those points were presented as part of the exchange’s effort to build a more resilient and transparent trading environment.
First release in a broader Pizza Day campaign
The game is the first featured activation under MEXC’s broader “One Pizza, Infinite Opportunities” campaign. The company said more Pizza Day experiences are planned, with a focus on lowering barriers to crypto engagement and creating more accessible ways for users worldwide to connect with the digital economy.
MEXC’s company profile in the release says the exchange serves more than 40 million users across 170+ markets and offers access to over 3,000 digital assets, while highlighting its 0-fee trading model. The article also carried a risk disclaimer stating that the content is not investment advice and that market participants should assess volatility, project fundamentals, and financial risks before making trading decisions.
