MEXC has announced a major upgrade to its AI product lineup with the launch of AI Strategy, which the exchange describes as the industry’s first fully free and open trading agent. According to the company, the new tool moves MEXC AI beyond decision support and into autonomous execution, allowing users to express a market idea while the system interprets intent, builds a strategy, monitors conditions, and places trades automatically.
From decision support to autonomous execution
In conventional trading, users must manually identify setups, define entry and exit rules, watch the market, and execute orders. MEXC says AI Strategy is designed to streamline that process. Instead of relying on coding skills or quantitative trading knowledge, users can create personalized strategies through natural-language prompts.
The company gave examples such as going long on ETH after a breakout from a bilateral pattern with an 8% take-profit target, or triggering a trade based on a social-media event combined with token price action. In those scenarios, the AI is intended to understand the instruction and generate the related strategy automatically.
Social monitoring and 24/7 market coverage
MEXC also highlighted real-time monitoring of platforms including X, saying AI Strategy can track influential accounts and shifts in market sentiment. In event-driven markets, the exchange argues that this could help users respond within seconds of a relevant development rather than relying on manual monitoring.
The feature is also built for 24/7 automated market surveillance and execution through integrations with leading AI models. MEXC said the product is open to all users at no cost, positioning it as a lower-barrier way to access AI-powered automated trading tools.
A broader AI trading ecosystem
The launch also expands MEXC’s wider AI product suite. Its Smart Chart feature displays AI-generated price forecasts, probability-of-rise indicators, and event alerts beneath candlestick charts. AI Consultant focuses on personalized suggestions based on users’ actual holdings. AI Strategy adds the final layer by converting market views into executable strategies and automated orders, giving MEXC a workflow that spans discovery, analysis, and execution.
CEO Vugar Usi said zero-fee trading removed one barrier, while MEXC AI is meant to address another critical one: execution. He said the exchange has chosen to build around the real workflows of everyday traders rather than focusing AI capabilities only on professional infrastructure.
MEXC said that in Q1 2026, its AI-related features reached roughly 140,000 daily active users, while cumulative quarterly active users surpassed 1.04 million. The company also stated that it serves more than 40 million users across 170+ markets and offers access to over 3,000 digital assets. While the announcement underscores MEXC’s push into AI-assisted trading, the original material was published as a press release, so readers should treat the claims as company statements and conduct their own due diligence.
