The cryptocurrency market experienced a broadly positive week, with Bitcoin and Ethereum each gaining 10% against the U.S. dollar. However, the standout performer was the meme token Mog Coin (MOG), which surged an impressive 54.9%, topping all major cryptocurrencies by a wide margin.

Top Gainers of the Week

According to seven-day price data, Mog Coin led the pack with a 54.9% increase. Privacy-focused Zcash (ZEC) followed with a 44% rally, while decentralized exchange token Aerodrome Finance (AERO) climbed 39.6%. VeChain (VET) also posted a strong 36.1% gain. Other notable winners included STX, TRUMP, ICP, VTHO, MKR, PEOPLE, and OM. At the start of the week, 27% of all cryptocurrencies were in positive territory.

In terms of trading volume, excluding stablecoins, the most active assets were SOL, BNB, XRP, PEPE, DOGE, NOT, ADA, WIF, and TRX. Global 24-hour trading volumes surged 26.85% compared to the previous day, signaling increased market participation.

Biggest Losers: Render Token, Aelf, Notcoin

Only a handful of digital assets recorded losses during the week. Render Token (RNDR) dropped 7.19%, making it the worst performer. Aelf (ELF) declined 6.75%, and Notcoin (NOT) fell 6.3%. Other notable decliners included TURBO, OCEAN, FLR, AKT, and ARKM. The relatively small number of losers highlights the broad-based nature of this week's uptrend.

Macro Context and Market Outlook

In parallel with the crypto rally, U.S. stock markets also advanced. A noteworthy development in traditional markets was the yield curve: for the first time since early 2024, the 30-year Treasury yield exceeded the two-year yield, often interpreted as a signal of shifting long-term economic expectations. While the surge in meme tokens like Mog Coin captures attention, investors should remain cautious about the high volatility inherent in such assets. The overall sentiment is bullish, but short-term corrections remain a possibility given the rapid gains.
