Monochrome Exchange said it has listed its platform token, MCR, and opened spot trading for the MCR/USDT pair, according to a post from the multi-asset trading platform on X. The exchange said MCR can be used to reduce trading fees, take part in Launchpad offerings, and join its upcoming digital IPO product. The platform also said the token is backed by a quarterly buyback and burn program funded by platform profits. For now, MCR is only available for trading on Monochrome Exchange itself during the initial listing period. The exchange added that on-chain withdrawals for all MCR holdings will open on Nov. 6. It said that date is the same day the IEO lock-up period ends. No other trading venues or withdrawal details were disclosed in the announcement.
