MrBeast’s business group is moving deeper into financial services, with new progress showing up in U.S. trademark records.
According to data from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Beast Holdings, LLC filed two trademark applications on Oct. 13, 2025: "MRBEAST FINANCIAL" under serial number 99440901 and "BEAST FINANCIAL" under serial number 99440877. Both applications were published in the Official Gazette on Aug. 11, 2026, and formally received Notices of Allowance on Oct. 6.
The applications are still in the Intent-to-Use stage
Both trademarks are currently listed as Intent-to-Use filings. That means the applicant must submit proof that the marks are being used in commerce within the required deadline before the registrations can be finalized.
Filings span banking, lending, investment and crypto services
The scope of services in the applications is broad. It includes mobile banking applications, cash advances and small loans, credit and debit card issuance and transaction processing, as well as investment advice and investment management.
On the crypto side, the filings also cover cryptocurrency trading services, cryptocurrency payment processing, and cryptocurrency exchange through decentralized trading platforms, or DEXs.
Tom Lee previously pointed to a DeFi angle
BlockBeats reported that Beast Industries received about $200 million in investment from BitMine, described in the report as the largest Ethereum treasury, in January this year. Tom Lee said at the time that the company would explore combining DeFi with the young user base reached by MrBeast.
Beast Industries CEO Jeff Housenbold had also said publicly that the company planned to incorporate decentralized finance elements into an upcoming financial services platform.
Trademark progress follows the Step acquisition
Related documents show that the trademark owner is Beast Holdings, LLC, with a registered address in Greenville, North Carolina.
Earlier, in February this year, Beast Industries completed its acquisition of Step, a financial app aimed at younger users. Step previously had millions of users and mainly offered bank accounts, spending cards and credit-building services for teenagers and young adults.
BlockBeats said the trademark development, together with the integration of Step, is being viewed by the market as a key step in MrBeast’s expansion from content and consumer brands into financial services.
No related financial product has launched so far. If services under the MrBeast brand are introduced later, the creator’s main channel, with more than 500 million subscribers, would provide a large potential user base.
