Blockchain analyst EmberCN has observed that 116.3 BTC moved by Mt. Gox’s associated addresses two days ago have now been fully transferred into the Bitstamp exchange, with an estimated value of $8.25 million. This marks yet another asset movement in the ongoing creditor repayment process.

On-chain data shows that Mt. Gox previously sent 10,423 BTC to a new address, from which 116.3 BTC were then routed to a hot wallet. Those same 116.3 BTC have now ended up on Bitstamp, a designated payout exchange, further confirming the link to creditor distributions.

Since launching its civil rehabilitation proceedings, Mt. Gox has been returning bitcoin to creditors in batches through approved exchanges. This latest $8.25 million BTC deposit into Bitstamp underlines the continued progress of the repayment plan. Analysts are closely monitoring Mt. Gox’s on-chain activity to track the pace of remaining payouts.
