Hyperinsight said a whale address starting with 0x0ad has raised its long position in Micron Technology (MU) to 9,984.704 units, up about 96% from before, making it the largest MU bull on Hyperliquid at the moment. The position is held with 3x leverage and is worth about $9.949 million, with an average entry price of $1,005.134. After MU briefly moved back above $1,000 intraday and then slipped to $996.325, the position returned to break-even for a short period but was still showing an unrealized loss of about $87,000, or 2.6%. The whale has placed two take-profit sell orders above cost: 4,984.704 units at $1,036 worth about $5.164 million, and 5,000 units at $1,038.5 worth about $5.193 million. Combined, the two orders total 9,984.704 units, or roughly $10.357 million, matching the entire long position. If both are filled, the address would exit above cost with estimated price gains of about $321,000. Another MU long, an address beginning with 0x364 and holding a position worth about $1.023 million, has also placed a full take-profit order at $1,039, suggesting both traders are looking to realize gains before MU reaches $1,040.

BlockBeats reported on July 15 that, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, a whale address beginning with 0x0ad that had previously bet on a rebound in semiconductor names has recently increased its Micron Technology (MU) long to 9,984.704 units. That was about 96% larger than before, making it the biggest MU long currently on Hyperliquid.

The address does not appear to be chasing the move higher. Order data shows two take-profit sell orders have already been placed above its cost basis, with the apparent plan of closing the entire position.

The 0x0ad address has listed two orders to exit the full MU position

The whale is currently holding an MU long worth about $9.949 million with 3x leverage, built at an average entry price of $1,005.134. MU moved back above $1,000 during the trading session before pulling back slightly to $996.325. The position briefly returned to break-even, but was still showing an unrealized loss of about $87,000, or -2.6%, at the quoted price.

Order data shows the address plans to unwind the position in two parts above cost:

  • 4,984.704 units offered at $1,036, worth about $5.164 million;
  • 5,000 units offered at $1,038.5, worth about $5.193 million.

Together, the two sell orders amount to 9,984.704 units worth about $10.357 million, exactly matching the full MU long. If both orders are filled, the address would leave the trade above its cost basis. Based on the listed prices, the estimated price gain would be about $321,000.

Another MU long has also set its exit below $1,040

On the long side, another million-dollar MU trader, an address beginning with 0x364, has taken a similar approach. That position is worth about $1.023 million, with an average entry price of $980.861, and a take-profit order covering the entire position has already been placed at $1,039.

The two addresses are both placing their expected realization zone below $1,040 in this round of the rebound.

BlockBeats also cited an earlier item saying the largest long in SK Hynix had built a $2.7 million position and was already facing an unrealized loss of $370,000. HyperInsight Bot is now live.
