MultiBank Group has announced a partnership with former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov to form a multi-billion-dollar joint venture focused on building what the companies describe as the world’s first regulated tokenized sports ecosystem. The project is designed to connect finance, sports, and technology inside a single regulated structure.
Venture built around regulated sports RWA infrastructure
According to the announcement, the new company will operate from MultiBank Group’s headquarters and will develop a global network of premium sports ventures and real-world digital assets. The initiative is backed by MultiBank Group’s regulated digital ecosystem, with $MBG positioned as the core token supporting its expanding real-world-asset, or RWA, strategy.
The company said the venture also gives MultiBank exclusive rights to develop and promote projects under the Khabib Nurmagomedov brand. That includes plans tied to 30 state-of-the-art Khabib gyms, Gameplan, and other brands named in the release.
Executives frame the project as a finance-and-sports platform
Founder and Chairman Naser Taher said the group is working from the UAE to create a new model for the business of sport through regulated tokenization of real-world sports assets. In his statement, he said the combination of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s brand and the $MBG ecosystem is intended to bring athletics and finance into a transparent, technology-driven system.
Nurmagomedov said the partnership is based on shared values that include strength, respect, and discipline. He added that the companies aim to create global opportunities beyond sport itself while connecting athletes and fans through a regulated digital ecosystem.
MultiBank highlights its current global scale
MultiBank Group said it was established in California in 2005 and now serves more than 2 million clients across 100 countries. The company reported daily trading volumes above $35 billion, operates under 18 regulatory licenses across five continents, and maintains more than 25 offices worldwide.
