A mystery whale has carried out another large BTC-to-ETH rotation, according to on-chain tracker Lookonchain. The latest transaction involved swapping 200.71 Bitcoin for 6,247 Ether, with the trade valued at about $17.2 million.
Over the past six days, the same whale has converted a total of 1,308 BTC into 40,670 ETH, worth roughly $104 million. Lookonchain said all of the ETH obtained in these transactions has already been staked.
The activity points to a continued shift in the whale’s crypto holdings from Bitcoin into Ether. No additional identity details about the wallet were disclosed in the source update.
