On-chain data shows that part of the ATOM assets related to the incident appear to have been transferred through IBC, the cross-chain communication protocol, to an address on the Cosmos Hub network. According to on-chain tracking information, that address received about 228,517 ATOM on June 18. The funds were then emptied within several hours through IBC transfers and multiple outgoing transactions.
At present, the Cosmos Hub address holds only a small remaining balance. Namada has not yet released further details on the vulnerability, the attack process, or the precise size of the loss.
