Weakness spread across semiconductor, storage, optical communications and crypto-related names. In semiconductors and storage, Seagate Technology fell 2.60%, Western Digital dropped 2.52%, Sandisk lost 3.35%, Micron Technology slipped 2.15%, Nvidia was down 0.81%, Intel fell 3.16%, and AMD declined 2.48%.
Crypto-related stocks were also lower, with Strategy down 2.46%, Coinbase off 2.05%, Circle falling 3.27%, BitMine Immersion down 3.12%, and SharpLink Gaming slipping 2.39%. In optical communications, Marvell Technology lost 3.02%, Applied Optoelectronics fell 2.61%, Lumentum Holdings dropped 2.50%, Coherent Corp. declined 3.15%, Ciena Corporation fell 1.93%, Fabrinet lost 2.01%, and AXT Inc. was down 4.00%.

In crypto-linked names, Strategy (MSTR) fell 2.46%, Coinbase (COIN) dropped 2.05%, Circle (CRCL) lost 3.27%, BitMine Immersion (BMNR) declined 3.12%, and SharpLink Gaming (SBET) slipped 2.39%.
Optical communications stocks weakened across the board
Optical communications names were also lower. Marvell Technology (MRVL) fell 3.02%, Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) dropped 2.61%, Lumentum Holdings (LITE) lost 2.50%, Coherent Corp. (COHR) declined 3.15%, Ciena Corporation (CIEN) fell 1.93%, Fabrinet (FN) was down 2.01%, and AXT Inc. (AXTI) lost 4.00%.
