Nasdaq has officially announced that it will join the Pyth data market as a data publisher, with the initial data feed being Nasdaq TotalView. This integration allows Pyth network to distribute real-time market data from one of the largest U.S. exchanges directly to on-chain applications.
Nasdaq TotalView is Nasdaq's standard data product for professional traders, offering comprehensive order book depth — including every order at each price level, the identity of the market participant behind each order, and order imbalance data near the open and close crosses. Such granular data is invaluable for high-frequency trading, market making, and DeFi protocols requiring precise market microstructure.
Pyth network is a decentralized oracle network specialized in sourcing low-latency, high-fidelity market data from top-tier financial institutions. Adding Nasdaq as a data publisher further cements Pyth's role as a critical bridge between traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi).
