Nasdaq-listed Sharplink Gaming, Inc. has revealed that its Ethereum (ETH) holdings surged to 797,704 ETH as of August 24, 2025, valued at approximately $3.7 billion. This milestone makes the company the second-largest public corporate holder of ether, trailing only Bitmine.
Aggressive Weekly Accumulation
The company disclosed it acquired 56,533 ETH during the week of August 18–22 at an average price of $4,462. The purchases were funded by $360.9 million in net proceeds from its at-the-market offering facility. Since initiating its Ethereum treasury strategy on June 2, Sharplink has also accumulated 1,799 ETH in staking rewards.
CEO Reinforces Long-Term Vision
Joseph Chalom, co-CEO of Sharplink, stated: “Our execution of the ETH treasury strategy demonstrates the strength of our vision and team commitment. We remain focused on building long-term stockholder value while supporting the Ethereum ecosystem.” He added that the company retains approximately $200 million in cash to deploy for further ETH acquisitions. To enhance transparency, Sharplink introduced a new “ETH Concentration” metric, which has surpassed 4.00 on a cash-converted basis.
$1.5 Billion Buyback Plan Approved
Separately, Sharplink’s Board approved a new $1.5 billion stock buyback plan on August 18, 2025. Headquartered in Minneapolis, the company adopts Ethereum as a primary treasury reserve asset, offering investors direct exposure to the digital asset.
