The new year has brought a fresh wave of optimism to the cryptocurrency market, with SOL, ADA, and HYPE posting notable gains. Analysts are pointing to both technical patterns and institutional catalysts.

HYPE: Signs of Reversal After 60% Correction

Hyperliquid's token HYPE has seen a heavy pullback but may be staging a comeback. Analyst Lark Davis highlighted that HYPE has corrected over 60% from last year's all-time high. However, a potential reversal is emerging: the price has bounced back to the 9-day and 21-day EMAs, the RSI is trending upward to reclaim the mid-range, and the OBV has flattened. Davis noted, "While it's not yet a definite trend reversal, trading activity is forming here."

The key resistance level to watch is $28. A close above this zone could entice more buyers. Overall, buying pressure appears to be building after the sharp correction.

ADA: Cup and Handle Pattern Targets $0.517

Cardano (ADA) is showing early strength this year. Analyst Martinez shared a chart suggesting ADA may be forming a cup and handle pattern. His short-term targets are $0.496 and $0.517. "Should it rise above $0.423, the $0.517 level could become a target," Martinez stated.

ADA is currently trading around $0.42. A decisive break above $0.423 would confirm the pattern and open the path to higher levels. Until then, consolidation may continue.

SOL: Slow Grind Toward $145, Morgan Stanley ETF in Focus

Solana (SOL) has been quiet recently after last year's rapid moves. Trading at $143 at press time, analyst Ryan Scott noted a steady march toward $145. He expects a major surge to begin, targeting $170.

Scott highlighted a potential game-changer: Morgan Stanley may launch a Solana ETF. "This is not just good price movement but most likely the Morgan Stanley ETF is coming, supported by an RIA army capable of distributing it on a large scale," he said. "Morgan Stanley is a wirehouse with a real sales machine behind it, framing SOL not just as another altcoin but as an institutionally packaged asset."

If the ETF materializes, it could funnel significant traditional capital into SOL, acting as a strong catalyst.
