NFT sales totaled $58.34 million over the past seven days, a 20.34% decline from the previous period. Activity at the user level moved in the opposite direction. Buyers rose 21.97% to 296,018, while sellers increased 24.63% to 270,495. Transaction count still slipped, falling 4.33% to 660,674.
The broader crypto market remained under pressure during the same stretch. Bitcoin traded near the $70,000 level and Ethereum hovered around $2,000. Total crypto market capitalization dropped to $2.41 trillion from $2.83 trillion a week earlier, and NFT weekly sales posted a second straight decline.
Ethereum stays on top while Bitcoin NFT volume drops harder
Ethereum kept the lead among blockchains with $34.97 million in NFT sales, though that figure was down 23.63% over seven days. The chain brought in 33,663 buyers, up 20.44% from the prior week. Wash trading on Ethereum reached $2.91 million.
Bitcoin ranked second with $4.66 million in sales, a weekly decline of 32.81%. Even with lower volume, the network drew 12,770 buyers, up 17.10%. Base took third place at $4.14 million, gaining 8.46%, with 83,552 buyers. BNB Chain followed with $3.93 million in sales, down 20.62%. Solana completed the top five at $2.61 million, up 1.14%, and its buyer count jumped 56.69% to 80,610. Immutable fell to sixth with $2.34 million, down 29.10%.
Flying Tulip PUT keeps first place, CryptoPunks rebounds sharply
In the collection rankings, Flying Tulip PUT on Ethereum remained the top seller with $11.41 million in weekly sales. That was still a steep 49.06% drop from the previous week. The collection recorded 530 transactions from 259 buyers.
CryptoPunks climbed to second with $4.71 million in sales, surging 146.56% after a 52.35% decline in the prior week. The collection closed 69 transactions involving 44 buyers, and both totals more than doubled week over week. A Base collection ranked third with $2.11 million. Pudgy Penguins posted $2.09 million, down 6.96%, while Bored Ape Yacht Club reached $1.90 million after a 59.79% increase. TokenVestingPlans brought in $1.65 million, up 67.85%, and Guild of Guardians Heroes recorded $1.50 million, down 22.82%.
CryptoPunks accounts for three of the five biggest sales
CryptoPunks dominated the week’s highest-value NFT sales, taking three of the top five spots. CryptoPunks #5402 sold for $265,585, or 113.5 ETH. CryptoPunks #9170 changed hands for $139,761, equal to 72 ETH. CryptoPunks #1112 sold for $92,850, or 48.48 ETH.
The remaining high-ticket sales included Wrapped Ether Rock #98 at $109,128, priced in 109,127.7422 USDC, and Autoglyphs #256 at $105,512, equal to 50 ETH.
