X Product Head Nikita Bier Steps Down, Moves to Advisory Role

PANews, Aug. 6 – Nikita Bier, head of product at X, said on the platform that he is leaving the post to become an adviser. Bier pointed to record user growth and engagement over the past year. The app's App Store ranking moved up 70 spots versus the prior year. Across the last 400 days, the team rebuilt the timeline, Android app, onboarding, notifications and chat, and launched nearly 30 new products, he wrote. The role required round-the-clock attention and he now needs a break, Bier said. Going forward, design goes to Benji Taylor, Singhai takes core product engineering, and Dinkin Flicka handles mobile engineering.
