Nirvana Labs, a high-performance bare metal cloud provider focused on Web3, has announced a $6 million seed extension co-led by Crucible Capital and Jump Crypto. The latest raise brings the company’s total funding to $11.8 million. RW3 Ventures, Castle Island, and Hash3 also participated in the round, while Crucible Capital GP Meltem Demirors is set to join Nirvana’s board.

Building infrastructure from silicon to network

The company said the new capital will support its effort to build next-generation Web3 infrastructure “from silicon to network,” with the goal of reducing dependence on hyperscalers and legacy cloud providers. CEO Dan Burke argued that traditional cloud architecture was not designed for Web3 workloads and said Nirvana is rebuilding the compute, storage, and transport stack to better serve a decentralized internet.

Global footprint and blockchain data scale

According to the announcement, Nirvana Labs operates across 11 global data centers and manages more than 2,000 TB of blockchain data. Its infrastructure supports major protocols, decentralized applications, and high-frequency trading platforms. The company said it is trusted by Bitgo, Thirdweb, and Goldsky, along with blockchain foundations including Berachain, Avalanche, and IOTA.

New funding to target chips, storage, and networking

Demirors highlighted the heavy compute, storage, and bandwidth demands of crypto networks, arguing that reliance on hyperscalers creates high costs and structural dependence. Nirvana says its proprietary bare metal footprint combines high-throughput storage with compute resources to lower both cost and operational complexity. The company added that the new funding will be used to expand its capabilities in chipsets, NVMe storage, and next-generation networking to support the growing performance needs of Web3 applications.
