TechFlow reported on August 6 that Nvidia is urgently seeking AI base station suppliers in China to develop 6G AI-RAN base stations — equipment that handles both communications connectivity and AI computing.
Sources close to the communications industry chain say Nvidia is accelerating its entry into the telecom operator market and looking for base station manufacturers in China to develop 6G base stations that meet overseas market requirements.
The sources described the pace of the project as "relatively urgent," with Nvidia hoping to enter a trial network in 2027 or 2028.
Shenzhen Jiaxian Communication is one of the base station partners Nvidia is building relationships with, according to reports. An insider at Jiaxian confirmed that Nvidia first approached the company in 2025. The two sides are now developing 6G AI-RAN base stations based on Nvidia's CUDA ecosystem, with the partnership lasting more than six months.
The collaboration between Jiaxian Communication and Nvidia has entered the technology research and development stage, and the two parties have not ruled out establishing a commercial entity to jointly pursue overseas expansion. (Interface News)
