Crypto analyst Xaif Crypto has flagged an unusual redistribution of XRP exchange flows. Coinbase's share of XRP net transfers collapsed from roughly 28% to a mere 1.8%, while Bittrex unexpectedly captured nearly 30% of all net flows — its highest level in months. The shift unfolded without a meaningful change in XRP's price, which held near $1.10 throughout the period.

Coinbase Loses Ground, Bittrex Steps In

Xaif Crypto noted that Coinbase had consistently been among the top exchanges for XRP flows, making the sudden drop a notable departure from the norm. Bittrex has become the leading destination for XRP net transfers, though on-chain data does not reveal the purpose behind these movements or identify the parties involved. Traders typically cross-reference exchange flows with trading volume, derivatives positioning, and other on-chain indicators before calling a broader trend, leaving the market in a wait-and-see mode.

ETF Divergence: XRP Stands Out

Meanwhile, the ETF landscape painted a different picture. Bitcoin ETFs saw approximately $95.30 million in net outflows, Ethereum ETFs lost about $36.71 million, and Solana products posted roughly $605,000 in net outflows. XRP-linked products, however, recorded zero net flows during the same period — neither inflows nor outflows. While zero flows alone are not a bullish signal, they contrast sharply with the selling pressure seen across other crypto investment vehicles, highlighting divergent investor positioning.

One Metric Is Not Enough

The analyst stressed that exchange flow redistribution alone cannot confirm a directional move. Market participants are now closely monitoring volume data, derivatives interest, and on-chain activity alongside XRP's price action to piece together a clearer picture. The Bittrex surge and Coinbase retreat remain unexplained for now, adding an extra layer of uncertainty to an already complex market.
