OKX has released its H1 2026 Web3 Security and Risk Control Report together with Elliptic, SlowMist and OttoSec, outlining how attack patterns in Web3 are shifting beyond smart contract exploits. According to the report, threat activity is increasingly targeting signing flows, user devices, operational infrastructure and AI Agent-related scenarios. The report also lays out a set of risk-control metrics from the first half of 2026. OKX said its system blocked more than 5.7 million high-risk transactions during the period, including about 2.41 million linked to hacks and theft, roughly 1.48 million tied to phishing, and about 990,000 associated with scams. The company also said its Web3 on-chain intelligence label database now contains more than 1.1 billion labels across over 420 blockchains, with address screening, transaction monitoring and sanctioned address controls integrated into infrastructure including DEX and Exchange OS. On the user protection side, OKX reported blocking more than 7 million visits to risky websites, completing over 200,000 device risk checks, identifying more than 60,000 high-risk apps, and intercepting or flagging over 4 million high-risk signing attempts.
