OKX has launched equity perpetual swaps, giving users access to stock price exposure through crypto-collateralized trading on a 24/7 basis. The new products offer up to 5x leverage and are settled in USDT. The initial lineup includes more than 20 contracts, covering the so-called Magnificent 7 names: Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta.

Launch includes big tech names and crypto-linked companies

The offering goes beyond the largest US technology stocks. OKX also listed equity perpetual contracts tied to crypto-linked firms and other tech companies, including MicroStrategy, Coinbase, Robinhood, Intel, and Palantir. These instruments give traders market exposure to share price movements without directly owning the underlying equities.

Single-account margin structure uses BTC, ETH, or USDT

A key part of the rollout is OKX’s unified cross-margin model. According to the source material, traders can use BTC, ETH, or USDT as collateral in one account across crypto and equity positions, instead of separating balances by product type. The exchange also says assets that are staked and used as margin can continue generating yield while supporting open positions.

Availability starts in selected regions under regulatory eligibility

OKX said the product has already gone live in parts of Asia, the CIS, Latin America, and Turkiye. Access is still subject to regulatory eligibility, which keeps compliance at the center of any attempt to combine crypto infrastructure with traditional financial exposure. The regional rollout is live, but not universal.

OKX frames the launch as an early step in its RWA push

The source says Star Xu described the launch as a starting point, with OKX planning to expand its tokenized real-world asset, or RWA, product line. It also notes that the move follows support from Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange. With stock-linked contracts, crypto collateral, and round-the-clock trading brought into one venue, OKX is pushing the overlap between digital asset markets and traditional finance into a more direct form.
