Ondo Finance has launched more than 200 tokenized assets on Solana, covering stocks, ETFs, bonds, and commodities. The list includes names such as Nvidia, Amazon, Meta, and Walmart, making these traditional market exposures available for around-the-clock on-chain trading. According to the source material, the rollout lifted Solana’s digitized asset count by over 400%.
Jupiter handles the launch as traditional assets move on-chain
The assets were introduced through Jupiter, described in the report as Solana’s largest on-chain trading platform. The same report says the launch uses NYSE-backed liquidity, allowing users to trade products such as stocks and bonds directly on distributed networks. For the RWA sector, the significance lies in execution: trading, holding, and settlement for familiar financial instruments are being shifted into blockchain-based rails.
The report also points to a related development from the New York Stock Exchange, which recently announced plans to support 24/7 trading of U.S. stocks through a new on-chain exchange. That announcement is presented as a confidence boost for tokenized asset markets. It also ties into claims around deeper liquidity options, lower slippage, and faster settlement.
Solana’s non-stablecoin RWA market passed $1 billion
Ondo had already launched products on BNB and Ethereum before expanding to Solana. The move follows strong growth in Solana-based RWAs. By early January 2026, digitized RWAs on the chain had crossed $1 billion, excluding stablecoins.
The number of RWA token holders on Solana has also been rising by 18% to 25% monthly, based on the source article. It attributes that growth to high speed, low fees, and improving network stability. With Ondo’s latest expansion, Solana is described as the third-largest blockchain for non-stablecoin RWAs, holding about 4.5% of the global market. Ondo is also identified as the largest RWA issuer on Solana by asset variety.
RWA market size reaches $362.55 billion, though constraints remain
Tokenization converts real-world assets such as metals, property, copyrights, or shares into digital tokens that can be owned, managed, and traded online. The appeal is clear in the report: easier access, fractional ownership, lower costs, and continuous market availability. Citing RWA.xyz data, the article says the market has reached a total capitalization of $362.55 billion.
There are still limits. The source highlights regulatory constraints and the blockchain sector’s history of outages as open concerns. Even so, the article frames Ondo’s Solana rollout as another sign that traditional financial assets are continuing their move onto blockchain networks.
