Ondo Finance used the Ondo Summit to roll out five developments tied to onchain capital markets, with the main focus on tokenized stocks, equity derivatives, and regulated market infrastructure. The company said the event drew more than 200,000 viewers. Speakers were linked to BlackRock, the White House, Goldman Sachs, and Swift, while the discussion centered on expanding access across U.S. and European markets.
Ondo Perps targets stocks, ETFs, and commodities
The headline launch was Ondo Perps. According to Ondo Finance, the platform introduces perpetual futures tied to U.S. stocks, ETFs, and commodities, with an emphasis on capital efficiency for onchain equity derivatives. The company said the system uses institutional-grade infrastructure to support execution, liquidity, and margin efficiency. That places Ondo’s latest push beyond simple token exposure and into a broader derivatives layer for onchain markets.
Global Listing brings IPO shares onchain the same day
Ondo also introduced Ondo Global Listing, a product designed to place U.S. IPO stocks onchain on the same day they begin public trading. The firm said the structure is aimed at investors who have historically had limited access to U.S. IPOs. The tokens are intended to stay transferable and interoperable across multiple blockchains, extending their use beyond a closed platform environment.
MetaMask adds more than 200 tokenized stocks and ETFs
Distribution was another major part of the announcement set. MetaMask has added more than 200 Ondo tokenized stocks and ETFs to its self-custodial wallet. Ondo Finance said users can mint and redeem these tokens during market hours, while peer-to-peer transfers remain available at any time. Liquidity comes from traditional exchanges, but the tokens are still built to remain composable inside DeFi applications.
Confidential SEC filing aims at disclosure standards
Ondo Global Markets has also submitted a confidential registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The company said the filing is meant to support standardized disclosures for tokenized securities. If it becomes effective, all investors would receive equal access to issuer information. No detailed timeline was provided in the material, but the filing shows Ondo is pairing product expansion with a more formal disclosure path.
EU approval opens access across 30 markets
The final update focused on Europe. Ondo said it received regulatory approval to list its first group of tokenized stocks and ETFs across the EU and the EEA. The company tied that approval to a previously cleared base prospectus from Liechtenstein’s Financial Market Authority, allowing the listings to operate under passporting rules recognized across the region.
Under that framework, investors in 30 European markets can access tokenized versions of Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon, Tesla, Meta, Google, and the QQQ ETF. Taken together, the summit announcements show Ondo pushing on several fronts at once: product design, wallet access, U.S. disclosure structure, and European distribution.
