OpenGradient’s OPG has been added to Binance Wallet perpetual trading, with 0% maker fees and direct execution from user wallets. The rollout came shortly after the project’s April 21 token generation event, when OPG began trading through Binance Wallet and PancakeSwap. Binance Wallet also linked the launch to an Alpha Task Points campaign: users who record $1,000 in wallet perp volume can earn 3 Alpha Points, with 7 days left in the event window.
Fast move from TGE to derivatives listing
According to the source material, OpenGradient was presented as Binance Wallet’s 46th wallet TGE project. Trading opened the same day, and the platform reserved another 23 million OPG for future campaigns. Separate event terms showed that users needed 226 Alpha Points to join, while each participation consumed 15 points. The raise was set at $100,000 in BNB, with 10 million tokens offered at $0.01 in BNB and a 3 BNB cap per user. The sale also had no vesting.
After that, Binance Futures listed the USDⓈ-Margined OPGUSDT perpetual contract with leverage of up to 20x. The platform also stated that a futures listing does not imply that a spot listing will follow.
AI compute positioning keeps OPG on watchlists
OpenGradient describes itself as a network for open intelligence. Its website lists 1,500 models, more than 2 million verifiable AI inferences, and over 500,000 zkML proofs and TEE attestations. The source explains TEE as a secure hardware zone used to help verify that a computation ran as claimed.
On April 14, OpenGradient said it had raised $9.5 million in funding. Named backers included a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, SV Angel, and other crypto investors. That funding background, combined with the project’s AI narrative, helped draw attention to the token’s launch access, airdrop timing, and live price action.
Zero-fee access meets sharp early swings
OPG’s first days of trading were highly volatile. The material cited a price of $0.4067 on April 23, down 9.7% over 24 hours, with volume around $132 million. The same page showed a peak of $0.4759, a low of $0.1808, and a market cap of roughly $76.9 million.
Trader response was split. Some focused on the low-cost entry created by zero maker fees, while a community sentiment gauge showed 76% bullishness. Even so, launch-day volatility kept the mood cautious. Based on the disclosed details, OpenGradient’s rollout combines token sale access, wallet-based trading, and incentive mechanics in a single launch track, lifting early liquidity while also magnifying price discovery swings.
