OpenGradient moved into sharper market focus after OKX listed OPGUSDT perpetual futures, Bitget added its own OPGUSDT futures market with up to 20x leverage, and HTX launched a $3,000 OPG giveaway campaign. All three updates were announced through exchange posts on X, giving the token a burst of visibility as AI-linked crypto assets keep attracting trader attention.
OpenGradient is pitching verifiable AI computing
The project is built as a decentralized AI network centered on verifiable computing. Its stated goal is to prove that AI models are running as claimed, while supporting on-chain hosting, secure inference, and model deployment backed by cryptographic proof. That theme has become more relevant as users continue to question black-box AI systems and the lack of transparent verification.
Interest around the project has also been supported by its investor base. The source notes that backers include a16z crypto. In the market, the OPG token was priced near $0.33 with a market capitalization of about $62 million, placing extra attention on how the token trades after its exchange rollout.
OKX opens a wider derivatives venue for OPG
OKX said OPGUSDT perpetual futures are now live on its New Money App. A perpetual contract gives traders exposure to price movements without a fixed expiry date, which often makes it more attractive to users focused on short-term volatility. For a relatively new token, access to OKX’s derivatives market can broaden price discovery and lift visibility quickly.
The listing also fits a larger exchange pattern. AI-related crypto assets are showing up more often in trading product launches as blockchain-based computing narratives gain traction, and OPG is now part of that flow.
Bitget adds leverage and trading bot support
Bitget followed on April 23 with its own OPGUSDT futures listing. The exchange said users can trade with up to 20x leverage, and it also enabled trading bots for the market. That combination matters for active traders because bot support allows rule-based entries and exits rather than only manual execution.
The timing stands out. Bitget’s futures product arrived soon after the token’s spot debut, which can increase attention on price swings. Still, the source makes clear that a futures listing on its own does not confirm durable demand.
HTX uses a giveaway campaign ahead of April 30
HTX took a different route by launching a joint campaign worth $3,000 in OPG. To join, users need to follow both accounts, repost, like, tag two friends, and submit a form. That puts April 30 at the center of the campaign and has also pushed some users to look up OpenGradient airdrop-related terms.
HTX described the event as a giveaway rather than a formal token airdrop. Even so, the campaign can still broaden awareness among users who missed the original token listing or are only starting to track the project.
Exchange support is lifting visibility, but demand is still the key question
Right now, the clearest change is market access. OKX, Bitget, and HTX have each increased OPG exposure through derivatives trading, leverage tools, and community marketing. That can support awareness and near-term trading activity, but exchange support alone does not establish long-term demand. The next signal will come from whether user growth and trading volume stay consistent.
