Banking Circle has expanded its work with OSL Group, a stablecoin payments and trading platform, by adding payment rails for five more currencies on top of their existing euro business. The new channels cover the Australian dollar, British pound, Hong Kong dollar, Singapore dollar and U.S. dollar. According to the announcement, the move is intended to help OSL reach new B2B markets.
Banking Circle will also provide infrastructure support across OSL’s business platforms, with the partnership aimed at simplifying fiat settlement, digital asset conversion and liquidity management. Through BC-Now, Banking Circle’s always-on instant payment network, OSL said it will offer institutional clients a one-stop compliant platform for collecting, converting and settling funds globally on a 24/7 basis, without having to connect to multiple banks across different jurisdictions.
OSL Group Chief Commercial Officer Eugene Cheung said the next phase of digital asset adoption will be driven by real payment use cases, adding that businesses want the flexibility to move between fiat and stablecoins and therefore need regulated, scalable and internationally connected infrastructure.
