PeckShield said Ostium’s public OLP vault was exploited for about 24 million USDC, according to a PANews report published on July 16. The on-chain security firm said the attacker swapped the stolen funds into 12,080 ETH. Of that amount, 10,540 ETH has already been deposited into Tornado Cash.
PeckShield also traced the attacker’s initial funding. It said the wallet first received 1 ETH from ChangeNow and another 1 ETH from Bybit as seed capital. The report did not provide more details on how the exploit was carried out, and the item was presented as a market information update.
