PayDo has partnered with stablecoin infrastructure provider BVNK to add stablecoin pay-ins, payouts, and merchant checkout capabilities. The integration lets clients use stablecoins as a funding or settlement method, but all transactions are automatically converted to fiat currency — PayDo does not custody crypto assets directly.
Stablecoins Built Into Existing Payment Stack
Users can now fund accounts with stablecoins, receive payouts through stablecoin conversion, and accept crypto payments at checkout. Each transaction settles in fiat, keeping operations within a regulated e-money framework. Serhii Zakharov, CEO and Founder of PayDo, said: "These developments mark another step towards creating a unified, all-in-one financial ecosystem."
Cross-Border Payments as Key Use Case
Traditional cross-border transfers suffer from delays, multiple intermediaries, and high costs. Using stablecoins as a transfer layer while settling in fiat reduces friction for high-volume or time-sensitive international payments. Chris Harmse, Co-Founder and CBO of BVNK, commented: "We're unlocking opportunities for business customers to move, hold and settle funds more easily."
Merchants Get Crypto Checkout Without Custody
The new checkout feature allows merchants to accept digital asset payments and receive settlement directly in fiat. They avoid managing crypto wallets or price volatility, simplifying accounting and treasury processes. This mirrors a broader trend where payment providers abstract blockchain mechanics from end users.
BVNK Expands Stablecoin Infrastructure Role
BVNK provides the underlying stablecoin conversion and movement rails. Following previous partnerships with TransferMate and Deel, this deal further pushes stablecoins into mainstream financial operations. PayDo emphasizes fiat settlement remains central, with all stablecoin flows instantly converted — no direct crypto exposure in its regulated e-money license.
Competition in Multi-Service Financial Platforms
PayDo aims to consolidate multi-currency accounts, card issuing, merchant acquiring, and open banking into one dashboard. Adding stablecoin settlement strengthens its cross-border offering. As client expectations evolve, blockchain-based settlement tools may become standard in such ecosystems.
