Phemex has rolled out Phemex TradFi, a new futures offering that brings traditional financial assets onto its platform under a USDT-settled framework. The initial lineup includes futures tied to stocks and precious metals, while commodities, foreign exchange, and global indices are scheduled for later phases. The exchange says the product will be available on a 24/7 basis.

Crypto and traditional futures now sit inside one trading setup

With the launch, Phemex is moving into multi-market derivatives by letting users manage exposure to crypto and traditional assets in one place. The company says this removes the need to switch between separate platforms or settlement systems. It also argues that futures markets keep price discovery active outside regular exchange hours, giving traders a way to react to global macro developments during nights, weekends, and market closures.

Zero-fee campaign began on February 6 with a $100,000 incentive pool

To support early participation, Phemex introduced its 0-Fee TradFi Futures Carnival. Starting February 6, users can trade stock futures with zero trading fees for three months. The company also set aside a $100,000 incentive pool, describing it as part of a structure intended for disciplined and risk-aware participation.

Phemex is also offering a first-trade protection mechanism. Eligible users whose first TradFi futures trade ends in a loss can receive reimbursement in the form of a trading bonus. The announcement did not include more detailed eligibility rules or compensation terms.

Copy trading support is planned for TradFi futures

Phemex said the product is aimed at traders who want continuity across markets. Alongside unified settlement, the company highlighted transparent maker-taker pricing instead of spread-based execution, as well as strategy-driven tools for more systematic risk management. The exchange also said copy trading support for TradFi futures is planned, extending its existing strategy trading ecosystem into traditional markets.

In a statement, Phemex CEO Federico Variola said markets are becoming more connected and no longer operate within fixed sessions. He said the goal of Phemex TradFi is not to replicate traditional markets, but to change how they are accessed by combining continuous availability, unified settlement, and risk-aware tools in a single environment.

Phemex says it serves more than 10 million traders worldwide

According to the company, Phemex was founded in 2019 and is trusted by more than 10 million traders globally. Its current product suite includes spot trading, derivatives, copy trading, and wealth management tools. With the addition of TradFi futures, the company is presenting itself as more than a crypto-native exchange and positioning toward a broader derivatives platform built for always-on global markets.
