Phemex has announced the second edition of its Futures Apex Competition, a global year-end trading event running from Dec. 4 to Dec. 31, 2025. The exchange set the total prize pool at 450,000 USDT, framing the campaign as part of its push to expand an active derivatives trading environment for users worldwide.
Two-track format sets aside rewards for newcomers
The competition uses a dual-track structure aimed at traders with different levels of experience and trading styles. According to Phemex, 30% of the total prize pool is reserved specifically for newcomers. That setup gives newer participants a defined path in the event while experienced traders continue to compete in the broader rankings.
Weekly and monthly rewards unlock with overall volume
Phemex said the prize pools tied to weekly and monthly leaderboards will unlock dynamically based on total trading volume during the event. In practice, the size of those rewards depends not only on individual performance but also on how much aggregate trading activity the competition generates across the platform.
Daily ROI battles and 94,000 USDT in mystery box missions
Alongside the longer leaderboard cycles, the event includes 28 daily ROI battles. Each battle carries a fixed pool of 2,000 USDT, and traders need at least 1,000 USDT in entry volume to participate. The design creates a steady stream of short-duration ranking opportunities across the month.
Phemex also added four cycles of Mystery Box missions with a combined value of 94,000 USDT. The exchange said traders can collect ETH, Gold, and other bonuses through those tasks. Missions refresh every cycle, and active participants can earn as many as 13 boxes over the full campaign period.
