A prominent community figure declares Pi Network dead, forecasting a price crash below $0.1. The token now trades at $0.177, down 87% from its ATH, amid fury over unequal migration queues and KYC bottlenecks.

Pi Network is facing its most severe credibility crisis since its launch. The token dropped 9.13% in the past 24 hours to $0.177, extending a weekly decline of 19.5% and sitting 87% below its all-time high. Yet the price slide is almost secondary to the growing revolt inside the community.

Dr. Pi Declares the Project Dead

A widely followed community voice known as Dr. Pi posted a charged statement on X: “I declare that Pi has already collapsed. This is all due to the poor performance of the Pi Core Team, which has triggered extreme dissatisfaction. At their current pace, there won't be any positive news in the next 3-6 months. Under continuous large-scale migrations, Pi will drop below $0.10.” The message quickly ricocheted across the Pi ecosystem, crystallizing a sentiment that had long simmered.

Migration Inequality Ignites Fury

The core complaint revolves around an uneven migration process. Some Pioneers who completed their first migration are already being queued for a second, while a large portion of the community has not even seen their first migration processed — many haven't even passed KYC. Dr. Pi added in a follow-up that unless the Launchpad and Pi DEX go live on Mainnet soon, confidence will not return. “Many people have already completely lost confidence and won't come back,” he wrote. Community member Awan confirmed in replies that his KYC remains stuck despite completing the process long ago and submitting data to support.

KYC Compliance Blocks a Silent Slice

Not everyone can pass Pi's KYC. Mohammed Musa noted that Pioneers once flagged by their governments for fraud or anti-money laundering violations cannot clear Pi's verification layer, effectively locking them out of all future migrations regardless of effort.

Skeletal Liquidity Undermines Price Floor

Beyond the anger, the data paints a stark picture. Pi's turnover ratio stands at just 2.43%, indicating an extremely thin market. If $0.177 fails to hold, the next major support lies near the yearly low around $0.15. Analysts say a recovery above $0.20 is the bare minimum to signal any stabilization, let alone a trend reversal.
