The initiative is earmarked entirely for flood relief, with donations designed to be verifiable on-chain from end to end. The fundraising setup is backed by Polygon’s Open Money Stack, alongside Coinme and Cross River Bank. According to the announcement, Open Money Stack can accept any supported token from any blockchain. Donations will be collected in stablecoins and then converted into local currency before being deposited into the government relief fund account. The funds are intended to support rescue work, shelters and the supply of essential materials. Blockchain for Impact has already pledged $100,000 to the campaign, giving the effort an initial committed contribution as it begins collecting donations.
