A Polymarket trader drew broad attention after three linked wallets, likely controlled by the same person, generated $2.35 million in profit within one month from bets on Bitcoin’s price direction. According to blockchain analytics firm Lookonchain, the wallets began trading on February 1 and also placed occasional bets tied to Ethereum and Solana.

The activity stands out for both scale and consistency. Data cited in the report shows one wallet, created in January 2026, logged more than 134,000 views and 24,668 predictions. Its current open positions are valued at about $70,500, and its largest single gain reached $33,900.

Short-duration Bitcoin markets produced the biggest returns

The trades were concentrated in Polymarket’s short-term “Bitcoin Up or Down” markets. Some positions lasted only 15 minutes. Returns were frequently above 100%, and in some cases climbed past 400%. The profit chart described in the report did not show a few isolated spikes; it showed a steadier upward path built through repeated wins.

Individual trades illustrate how aggressive the positioning could be. In one case, $7,250 grew to $37,640, producing more than $30,000 in profit within minutes. Another trade returned $33,800 from a single outcome. Several other positions produced gains ranging from $24,000 to $31,000. Position sizes were also large, with some bets falling between $15,000 and $30,000.

A second profile showed the same pattern of steady gains

The article also pointed to a second trader profile on Polymarket with a similar performance curve. That account recorded incremental gains without major losses, reaching an all-time profit of $810,522 across 23,138 predictions. Its current positions were worth about $206,200.

Based on the public figures, the strategy centered on repeated participation in very short-term direction markets rather than long-horizon calls. For the wallets tracked in the report, high frequency, flexible sizing, and concentrated Bitcoin exposure were the main features behind the recent profit run.
