Morph on July 21 officially launched Morph Tachyon, an independent Layer 1 network built for on-chain trading. Among the first projects developing trading infrastructure on the network, decentralized perpetual futures platform PopDEX said it will use Morph Tachyon to create a higher-performance on-chain trading environment aimed at improving execution efficiency and user experience in crypto derivatives trading. According to the announcement, the design combines a high-performance on-chain trading setup with an independent consensus and settlement architecture, targeting 200-millisecond block times, throughput of up to 200,000 transactions per second, and instant finality. PopDEX said those features are intended to strengthen order execution and support faster, more stable order handling and market interaction. The two sides said they will continue working together on on-chain trading infrastructure development, with the stated goal of advancing on-chain markets with higher performance and capital efficiency.

Morph on July 21 officially launched Morph Tachyon, an independent Layer 1 network designed for on-chain trading.

PopDEX, a decentralized perpetual futures trading platform and one of the first projects building trading infrastructure on Morph Tachyon, said it will develop a high-performance on-chain trading environment on the network to improve execution efficiency and user experience for on-chain derivatives trading.

According to the announcement, PopDEX is relying on Morph Tachyon's design for high-performance on-chain trading scenarios, together with an independent consensus and settlement architecture, with targets of 200-millisecond block times, throughput of up to 200,000 TPS, and instant finality.

With that throughput and a trading-native architecture, PopDEX said it plans to strengthen on-chain trade execution, support faster and more stable order processing and market interaction, and offer traders, market makers, and liquidity providers an experience closer to that of professional trading platforms.

The two sides said they will continue cooperating on on-chain trading infrastructure to support the development of on-chain markets with higher performance and greater capital efficiency.
