ProCap Financial boosts BTC holdings to 5,457 with a 450-coin purchase, while repurchasing nearly 800K shares at a discount to NAV. CEO Pompliano calls both moves accretive.

ProCap Financial (BRR), the first publicly traded agentic finance firm, has added 450 bitcoin to its treasury, lifting total holdings to 5,457 BTC. The acquisition makes ProCap the 19th largest publicly traded holder of the cryptocurrency, while reducing its average cost per coin.

Dual Strategy: Cheaper Bitcoin and Undervalued Stock

Chairman and CEO Anthony Pompliano framed the move as part of a twin-track approach: “Buying bitcoin to average down our total cost basis and buying back our own stock when the market misprices it.” He added that both actions are accretive to shareholders. ProCap’s disciplined balance sheet allowed it to capitalize on BTC’s pullback from its all-time high.

Buyback Discount Narrows

Over the past 10 days, ProCap also repurchased 782,408 shares of common stock at a significant discount to net asset value (NAV). The company noted the discount to NAV has narrowed during that period and plans to continue repurchases as long as shares trade below intrinsic value. BRR shares rose over 3.75% in Monday morning U.S. trading, helped by a broader bitcoin lift that pushed the crypto above $68,500, up more than 4.5%.
