The update also showed that Japan-listed Metaplanet made no Bitcoin purchases last week, extending its no-buy streak to seven weeks. Separately, asset manager Strive said on Aug. 31 that it bought 1,800 BTC last week at $79,431 per coin for about $143 million, bringing its holdings to roughly 23,156 BTC. In France, Bitcoin treasury company Capital B said it raised 21 million euros, or about $24.5 million, from investors and institutions including Adam Back to purchase Bitcoin. Capital B raises funds for Bitcoin purchases
French Bitcoin treasury company Capital B said it raised 21 million euros, or about $24.5 million, from investors and institutions including Adam Back. The funds are set to be used to buy Bitcoin.
Total corporate holdings reach 1,147,229 BTC
As of publication, the public companies tracked in the dataset, excluding miners, held a combined 1,147,229 BTC, up 0.6% from a week earlier. At current market prices, those holdings were worth about $89.6 billion and represented 5.7% of Bitcoin’s circulating market capitalization.
