According to BBX data cited by ChainCatcher, publicly listed companies around the world disclosed a new batch of crypto treasury moves over the weekend, spanning portfolio adjustments, loss-cutting sales, and strategic accumulation.
Trump Media transfers 2,628 BTC to Crypto.com
Trump Media (NASDAQ: DJT) moved 2,628 BTC to the Crypto.com exchange on Saturday, Aug. 1. The position was valued at about $165 million, and the market expects the company may sell more of its holdings.
The company bought 11,542 BTC last year at an average price of $118,529. This year, it has sold a cumulative 7,281 BTC at an average price of about $74,860, resulting in a realized loss of $318 million.
Trump Media still holds 4,261 BTC, with an unrealized loss of $237 million. Its combined realized and unrealized losses now stand at $555 million.
Quantum Solutions sells ETH to fund AI data center operations
Quantum Solutions, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange under TYO: 2338, sold 1,000 ETH on July 30 at $1,903 per token. The sale brought in about $1.9 million, which the company said would be used to support its AI data center business. It expects to recognize a loss of about $100,000.
Including 904 ETH sold in June, the company’s holdings have now fallen 29% to 4,764.8 ETH. Its board also raised the sale cap from 1,875 ETH to 4,375 ETH. If that full allowance is used, the company will have disposed of about 66% of its initial holdings.
Eole adds HYPE as a strategic treasury asset
Japanese listed company Eole disclosed that it bought 1,078.25 HYPE on July 28 at an average price of $57.15, for a total value of about $66,000.
Eole said it plans to increase its total HYPE investment to $611,100 through multiple purchases before the end of August. The company intends to hold HYPE alongside Bitcoin as a long-term strategic treasury asset under its “Neo Crypto Bank” plan.
