In comments shared with Bitcoin.com News, Neuroth said the current momentum behind ZK rollups is justified because the technology directly addresses two of blockchain’s most persistent limitations: scalability and privacy.

That distinction matters. Neuroth contrasted the current interest in ZK rollups with the NFT boom of 2020 and 2021, which he characterized as being driven largely by market speculation.
