Reality, the compliant RWA issuance platform under Bitget, said that the assets under management of its rToken stock token series have surpassed $50 million. The platform officially launched in May this year. The rToken series uses the letter “r” plus a stock ticker as its identifier, such as rNVDA for Nvidia, creating a naming format for tokenized stock assets.
Connection to Global Liquidity Through Alpaca
According to Reality, rToken connects directly to global liquidity pools including Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange through a partnership with the compliant brokerage Alpaca. The product is designed for the tokenization of stock assets, combining compliant issuance, asset reserve arrangements, custody, and trading availability within the same framework.
The platform described several core features of rToken. The underlying assets are backed by 1:1 reserves and held by licensed custodians. Stock dividends are distributed in token form on a 1:1 basis. Corporate actions such as stock splits and reverse splits are also mapped to the corresponding tokens, allowing the tokenized assets to reflect the related changes in the underlying stock instruments.
More Than 500 Reality-Issued Stock Tokens Listed on Bitget
Bitget has listed more than 500 stock tokens issued by Reality to date. The platform also said that selected core assets, including SpaceX and Nvidia, now support weekend trading, enabling 24/7 spot liquidity for those assets.
Reality also stated that rToken holdings can already be used as joint margin in Bitget’s Unified Account and USDT-margined futures. This setup is intended to improve capital utilization across assets, allowing stock token holdings to be used not only as spot positions but also within Bitget’s margin framework.
