Resolv Foundation released final compensation plan for March hack: senior USR token gets 1:1 USDC redemption, junior RLP recovers ~60% value. Protocol pivots to tokenized RWA platform Vault Street, launching primeUSD in June 2026.

After a two-month shutdown following an illegal minting attack in March 2026, Resolv Foundation finally laid out its complete recovery plan and a strategic pivot on May 26. Adhering to the original two-tranche design, senior token USR holders are prioritized with a 1:1 USDC redemption, while junior RLP holders — the loss-absorbing layer — receive cash and token compensation recovering roughly 60% of value. Simultaneously, Resolv announced a new business line, Vault Street, targeting tokenized real-world assets, with its debut product primeUSD aiming for a full launch in June.

USR Gets Full 1:1; RLP Absorbs Losses, Recovers 60%

The recovery plan strictly follows Resolv's dual-layer structure. USR holders from the pre-event snapshot can exchange each USR for 1 USDC (with KYC); those who acquired USR after the event (mixed with illegally minted tokens) get 0.5 USDC per USR. For LP providers of USR/wstUSR, non-leveraged LPs average a 75% cash recovery plus RESOLV token subsidies, bringing total value back to roughly 95% of the initial amount; leveraged LPs see lower recovery after debt deduction.

RLP holders can redeem each RLP for 0.71 USDC (pegged at 55% of pre-event reference price) plus 2.71 RESOLV tokens, achieving a total value recovery above 60%. Other structured products — like Pendle's wstUSR — will be converted back and treated as pre-event 1:1; the USR Yield Maxi Vault recovers 90% of pre-event share price. To cover losses, the Foundation allocates 10% of total RESOLV supply to the recovery plan (70% to RLP holders), with a reference price of $0.03. Amounts exceeding 10,000 tokens are subject to a 24-month linear unlock.

Leaving the Hack Behind: Launching Vault Street for RWA

Alongside compensation, Resolv announced a major strategic pivot: Vault Street, a new business line focused on distributing and innovating tokenized real-world assets. Its first product, primeUSD, is a permissioned leveraged RWA offering designed for institutions and professional allocators. Users deposit stablecoins, and the protocol invests in tokenized T-bills while applying controlled leverage in safe DeFi money markets. Institutional-grade custody and strict permission controls are employed to reduce single points of failure. primeUSD is now in private beta and is expected to fully launch in June 2026. Resolv also confirmed that the RESOLV token's staking function has been reactivated, with 300,000 RESOLV per epoch in staking rewards resuming from May 26.
