Ripple CTO David Schwartz said the XRP Ledger Hub, launched in August 2025, has been running smoothly for one month without any issues affecting peer nodes. The update points to steady progress in Ripple’s effort to strengthen the underlying infrastructure of the XRP Ledger.
Early operational results appear positive
According to Schwartz, the initiative is designed to improve network reliability and observe how the XRP Ledger behaves under live operating conditions. After a month of uninterrupted performance, the hub appears to be delivering encouraging early results for the broader XRPL environment.
For blockchain networks, stability at the node level and consistent on-chain behavior are key indicators of infrastructure health. Schwartz’s comment that no problems were seen on peer nodes suggests Ripple’s testing and optimization work is contributing to a more dependable XRPL stack.
Schwartz to step back from daily CTO duties
Schwartz also said he intends to step down from day-to-day CTO responsibilities by the end of the year. Even so, he noted that he will continue supporting the growth of the XRP ecosystem, signaling an ongoing role in its development even if his operational involvement changes.
Overall, the update underscores Ripple’s continued focus on improving reliability, performance, and long-term ecosystem resilience around the XRP Ledger.
